Gazan mother reunited with evacuated daughter after two years
A mother, whose daughter was a premature infant, was deeply affected by reports of premature infant deaths in Shifa, and wondered if her child could have been among them. She struggled with feelings of despair and hope, trying to distinguish between the possibility of her child's death and the news reports. The mother's emotional state was marked by uncertainty and distress.
"I lived between despair and hope that my daughter might still be alive," she explained. "Months later, we heard in the news that premature infants had died in Shifa. I would look at the photos, trying to feel, as a mother, whether this could be my child or not."
