Wang Qing, 46, was originally a music major, but entered the fashion industry during the pandemic and not only successfully transitioned, but also obtained the junior and senior technical certificates for women's clothing in just two years. She said that as long as she is willing to put in time and effort, and learn and research, she can find her own niche in the workplace. Currently working at the Wan Huo Hotel in Taipei, Wang Qing, who studied music at university, took the fashion course of the Red Cross Society during the pandemic, cultivating her enthusiasm, began as a junior designer assistant and realized that clothing and living are essential for people, so she decided to make the fashion industry her second career. To improve her professional skills, Wang Qing took the difficult path of taking the examination, recalling the preparation process, she said, "It was not easy." To complete her ideal work within the time limit, she repeated exercises to the point of forgetting to eat, "Even if her hands were hurt and her stomach was empty, her mind only thought of completing the work." Thanks to her diligent and hardworking spirit, she finally passed the junior and senior technical certificates for women's clothing. Wang Qing said that obtaining the certificate was not only a recognition of her professional identity but also recognition by her superiors, now she is responsible for managing and adjusting clothes for over 100 employees and solving various size and modification problems. When talking about her work achievements, she smiled, "Watching colleagues wearing well-fitting clothes, serving customers, I feel very satisfied." Wang Qing took the junior and senior technical certificates for women's clothing, meeting the qualifications for the Job Achiever Award Scheme, receiving 3000 and 10,000 yuan awards respectively. She said, "The award money is not just financial support, but recognition of the profession, it motivates workers to continue their own growth on the path."
